Website was absolutely correct & accurate!  This place has been AMAZING!!!  Warm reception from Ken on our arrival, showed us how everything worked.  Cake was very tasty - very much enjoyed that after our long journey here!  Accurate maps for walks - although we did pick the 9 miler (and made it 10 miles as Andy chose the wrong way!)  The spa was just what we needed after that walk!  Great staff at The Duke of Cumberland, food was brill (try the sticky toffee pudding)  Lots of rainy day activities also - we played all the games one morning.  Cottage was clean, bright, everything we needed was here, warming log fire, good barbecue.  Was a fantastic and special break for me and my other half.  Def recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tottergill Farm.  Just Perfect!  Went to The Duke of Cumberland,  lovely pub & food (maximum two bottles of wine per party as part of the deal).  Views and hot tub amazing.  Will visit again.  Thank you for a lovely weekend.  Ken made us feel welcome.

Thank you so much for a wonderful four days just enjoying the fabulous views, hot tub and walking. A few musts - go to Reghed, Penrith, lunch at the Posting Pot, Wetheral - best soup & sandwich ever and light the wood-burner - yes even in June - so cosy.  See instagram #tottergillfarm for bird pics - love woody woopecker.  I am sure we will return.

Stunning cottage, lovely countryside for walking.  Would highly recommend a trip to Ullswater for long walks.  Would love to come back again.

Fantastic week - weather superb.  We have walked all over the area, straight out of the cottage.  9 miles, 13 miles, 6 miles its all spectacular and nothing too hard.  Hadrians Wall on one day - gorgeous but busy as weather good.  Cottage is gorgeous, nicely equipped, we wanted for nothing. Hot tub amazing after a days walking.  Beds lovely size - comfortable.  Free internet - ideal for our 11 yr old son!  Dog friendly - she loved the area, only had to keep her on a lead through fields with livestock. Otherwise she ran free for miles - springer spaniel.  Shop local - butchers in Brampton amazing for BBQ meat, Coop or Spar to replenish basic groceries.  Duke of Cumberland - evening meals - excellent - not dog friendly though.  Blacksmiths Arms Talkin village - great pub lunch - dog friendly beer garden.  Love this place.  We will be returning next year hopefully.  Thank you.
