Thank you very much for a lovely location and house! We got married on 12/7/14 so this is our mini-moon. We ordered a champange hamper which was a lovely touch, Stephen & Joyce even took a hamper that our bridesmaid had delivered before we arrived in their own fridge as it was marked 'refridgerate imediately' Thank you. The lovely addtion of treats for the dogs was much appreciated. The walks are amazing. We will be back! Thanks again.

This is our second visit to Oak Cottage, and we aim to visit again soon. A huge thank you to Stephen, Joyce, Ken & Vicki for providing a well cared for property with excellent finishing touches (flowers, cakes,& chocolates were superb!) and a friendly service. Belated congratulations to Ken & Vicki on the arrival of baby Reuben - he is adorable! Unfortunately I had a flare - up of my disabilities, so I had a few days confined to bed. Luckily the bed is so comfortable, I felt as though I was in a great hotel, which made things easier. Before my flare-up, we did manage a trip to Brampton (I recommend a trip to Hilary's Antique Shop, near the Tourist Information Centre), Talkin Tarn and a lovely dinner at The Duke of Cumberland in Castle Carrock (Martin and his Staff were so kind and helpful, and they have great real ales). David visited The Geltsdale Brewery in Brampton and ordered a box (20 litres) of Cold Fell Ale to take home!!! What else can I say? A beautiful location, perfect properties plenty to do (cant forget Music on the Marr at Castle Carrock), great ownwers and a warm welcome. Simply cannot recommend you highly enough ten out of ten for everything!Thank you so much.

Second time at Tottergill for the two of us, this time we came with three generations of the family. Just as welcoming and comfortable as the first time around _especially the hot tub - tried for the first time by 85 yr old Gran - she loved it! Top level of house ideal for Grandpas mobility issues. Lots to visit around and about, weather mostly good, although torrential rain in Keswick when we celebrated Sheila and Harolds 59th wedding anniversary. Inclusion of champagne flutes in inventory came in useful as we toasted them and dried off!! Bird watching from hot tub was a novel experience - lots of variety to see. Have to revisit as still have not seen that elusive red squirrel. As such a lovely bird book is supplies maybe a pair of binoculars in the cottage would be good too. Sure not only our family who love birds!

"THAT" view changes every 5 minutes, we could spend hours watching it change. We've spent so long watching it our week is over. 14 months since we booked and well worth the wait. Will certainly be back, plenty of unfinished business to take care of. I think Iain wants to move in...! Thanks for all the little extras, nice touches really appreciated.
The Lee Family, East Lothian, 18th July 2014 (Garth Cottage)
We had a lovely stay, enjoying the view and watching the wildlife. Lovely to see woodpeckers coming so often, and we caught sight of a red squirrel in the woods near the lime kiln. Thank you for the warm welcome and the delicious cake! We will have very fond memories of Cumbria, on our last holiday before our baby arrives in October.
