Yet another wonderful few days at beautiful Tottergill! This time we celebrated a birthday and our first wedding anniversary in Gelt Cottage. If this is what anniversaries are like we'll try to put up with one another for another year! We had some friends to visit and all they have asked since is "when can we book?!" so we're already planning our next trip! Beatiful, homely cottage with everything we could wish for. We loved the tub! And we went to lovely Talking Tarn - a wonderful place for visitors with four-legged friends... they even let the dogs come out on the lake with us in a paddle boat! Note: be careful doing this with a Springer Spaniel because there are lots of ducks and it can get to be a 'rocky' boat ride!
Amazing place, great hosts... so pleased to have found our 'happy place' so early in our marriage! Thanks :)

The cottage is fantastic we had a comfortable week's stay.  The views from the cottage & hot tub were amazing, pity about the weather.  The Dog's had a great time to.  Thanks so much for all your help through our stay.

Last minute idea... and what a good one! David's birthday, and just fancied somewhere reliably comfortable to 'chill' - and it was! as we knew it would be having been before. (Watson Cottage)
What a snug, well-proportioned little cottage, with everything you should need, immaculately preserved and of high quality. You couldn't do better!
The walk to the local pub, in Castle Carrock, the first evening was a delight, after a long drive - and the weather allowed us to enjoy it fully.
Had a a good 'explore' of parts of Hadrian's Wall nearby, which was really interesting - felt we'd aquainted ourselves, in a different way, with the surrounding area this time.
Thank you so much for accepting our last minute request to stay.  Sadly it went too quickly. Well done with your 'high-class set of cottages. Hopefully we'll be back!

We had a fantastic week, exploring the area and enjoying the stunning countryside. Toby enjoyed long walks around to park at Talkin and we all enjoyed the delicious ice cream and the watersports. The cottage is lovely and Vicki really made us feel welcome on our arrival and provided beautiful cake and treats for toby.  Hope to be back soon!  Thank you for a lovely week.

Our sixth visit to Tottergill, but our first in Watson Cottage.  What a fantastic place to celebrate our Ruby anniversary and lovely to be able to share the experience with family this time.  Thank you for all the little touches which made our stay so special, particularly for the champagne and card which were much appreciated.  As always we are sad leave, but are already planning our next visit!

Another fantastic week!!  The cottage offers luxurious and peaceful base to explore the surroundings.  Would def recommend Walby Farm Park (excellent for all ages especially little ones!).  This is the 2nd year we have been here and will definitely be back again!!  Hadrians Wall offers various options, however, the Roman museum was an excellent find!  Thanks to Ken and his family for welcoming us as always!  To sum up our break = EXCELLENT!

Stunning views, love the birds - had a great time watching woodpeckers.  Marvelous walks round about.  Especially enjoyed the cakes & chocolates.  Loved Keswick & introduced my Maltese relatives to Brysons & English cream tea.  Warm, sustaining hot tub - perfect after a day's walking.  Already planning our next visit.

Had a lovely couple of days here in Ash Cottage, wish we could have stayed longer. We really apreciated all the little extras such as the cake, chocolate, personalised maps, etc. Will definately recommend to friends and family.
