Gill Cottage - Pet Friendly Cottage near the Lake District
Gill Cottage is cosy and open plan with stunning views over the reservoir to the Solway Firth and Scottish hills. It is a pet friendly cottage and a perfect base to explore the Lake District without being in amongst the hustle and bustle. Gill Cottage has and open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. Exposed beams and a woodburning stove add to the cottage's cosy character. (logs are provided free of charge). The kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob, electric fan oven, microwave and refrigerator. In the lounge there is a large LCD TV with digital Freeview, DVD, video, radio and CD. Complimentary wireless broadband is available in the cottage.
Double patio doors lead out onto it's own enclosed garden with hardwood garden furniture and BBQ enabling you to relax and enjoy the breathtaking view (see photo below taken from Gill Garden.)

There are two bedrooms; one galleried double bedroom with super king size double bed & one single (accessed via double bedroom). The romantic double bedroom has a canopy above the bed. There is also a clock radio with ipod dock and MP3 USB allowing you to listen to your own music.
There is a groundfloor shower room in Gill.
Private parking is right outside the cottage door.
Complimentary use of the leisure facilities at a local hotel are included with all our cottages. There you will find a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, gym etc.
No smoking in the cottage.
Separate laundry facilities available, (washers and driers).
