Lovely welcome, brilliant cottage, all the little extras made a difference i.e. cakes, chocs, etc. We had a great week seeing so much and the sun shining 6 out of 7 days, what more could we ask?

Thank you Stephen & Joyce for a very warm welcome, lovely cottage with lots of character and loving touches. Had a great time, visited many places within the area, locally and the Lakes. The views are amazing and you both have a lovely and special 'farm', you should be extremely proud. If only the 'sun' had shone!

We had a brilliant stay at low barn. Nice views. We seen 3 woodpeckers, 3 goldfinch and 2 nuthatch. Lovely walks for the dogs. It was a very warm welcome. Thank you Stephen & Joyce. From Katelyn age nine.

We loved it as soon as we arrived. So clean, tidy and welcoming. A real treat especially when the four legged family members are with you. We had a very relaxing time just being together! We apreciated how warm and cosy our cottage was especially after the cold wet walks. We managed all of the walks on the card from the cottage - sometimes very muddy!! Talkin Tarn, Hadrian's Wall and Carlisle Castle. We would love to come back again and hopefully bring dryer weather with us - and a bit less mud! P.S. Thank you for the cup cakes and flowers. Yummy!
It was lovely to see all the improvements since our last visit 6 years ago.
Had a lovely relaxing time. Great idea with access to the Crown Hotel Spa, though we did'nt get chance to use it this time, we certainly will next. Looking forward to our next visit here. Many thanks.
